“Thanks and Giving” Party Silver Creek was a hit!

Ensight Homes hosted a “Thanks and Giving” Party at the Silver Creek Model Home .  The food received many compliments and the wine and music enhanced the party atmosphere. Many who came brought a Christmas Gift for a child at Children’s Hospital.  We’ll be able to brighten the holidays for them and their families as well.  The Middleton Place Lodging Gift Certificate was won by Joe Katzanberger from the Lexington ERA office. Congrats to you Joe and thanks again to Sandra Burr of the Burr Law Firm for her generosity in donating that fabulous door prize.

SC Dept of Education Rates Lexington High as “Excellent”

The South Carolina Department of Education ratings based on 2011 state report cards are in and Lexington High School has received the best rating possible!  The “Excellent” rating received by the high school is a great testament to the continuing effort put in by the teachers and students.

“Empowering 21st Century Learners,” Lexington High has been selected twice as the Carolina First Palmetto’s Finest.  The second largest public school in the state, Lexington High School was the first to receive this prestigious award and is the only high school to have been awarded the honor twice.

Lexington High has recently been noted in the news for its new iPad “one-to-one” program, giving every high school student a tablet of their own. The technology forward school is one of nearly 1,000 schools across the nation to endorse this new program deeming “[students] should have learning available anytime, anywhere,” according to Karen Woodward, Superintendent for Lexington One School District.

Lexington High School is also an International Baccalaureate World School, a globally recognized program that prepares students for continuing education by challenging them academically.

Recognized with a 5-Star School Award from SchoolDigger.com, they rate Lexington High as number 7 out of 212 high schools in South Carolina. Judging Results are in for the HBA Tour of Homes

“The Askins” by Ensight Homes, at SummerLake, received an “Honorable Mention” award by the HBA Tour of Homes judges for homes priced $201,000 to $300,000.

The Home Builders Association of South Carolina held the annual Pinnacle Awards last week to recognize outstanding craftsmanship in the construction of quality homes and outstanding marketing of homes and communities throughout South Carolina.
